Online published on 12 April, 2023. Abstract Digital culture refers to the beliefs, knowledge and practices of people interacting through digital networks. The prevalence of digital culture is witnessed in social media platforms. Digital culture pertains but is not limited to replicating physical world cultures. It has the potential to utilize the features of social media platforms to create novel cultural elements. But the ethics and behavioural attributes of the physical world influence the digital culture. This research study titled “The Role of Instagram Culture during the Covid- 19 Pandemic”, sought to understand the significance of Instagram's culture during the covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic halted operations of numerous fields and there was a noticeable strain on the well-being of people all around the world. A major part of the strain was caused due to the restrictions imposed to access the outside world. The objective of this study primarily revolved around comprehending the role of Instagram in mitigating the strain caused by the global crisis. A review was conducted to ascertain Instagram's cultural significance and its role in sustaining mental health, education, and businesses through appropriate interventions during the pandemic. The analysis revealed a new facet of Instagram as an effective communication channel and identified the cultural elements pronounced through features and forms of content that are unique to the platform.
