Abstract A sense of prejudice in the workplace persists toward working an employee with disabilities exists in private organizations every day. In this regard, the objective of the study is to investigate whether Persons with disabilities have lower or higher promotion rates at the workplace as a discrimination indicator. It is a quantitative and qualitative research, with a sample of 250 respondents (Employees with disabilities) obtained using a Likert scale questionnaire for the quantitative investigation. Also a systematic literature review was conducted for the qualitative research to support the study. The finding shows that employers and HR heads should emphasize eliminating bias and prejudice to ensure that employees with disabilities get equitable treatment at work. In cases when discrimination is detected, managers should assess the potential impact of discrimination on their bottom line. This will lead to employee work dissatisfaction influenced by discriminatory perceptions, which may result in decreased individual and collective performance, negatively impacting the organization’s overall outcomes.
