Abstract This study examined the asymmetric relationship between employee productivity and working from home in the IT industry in Delhi and NCR. In this regard, using standard measurement from the literature review to measure the perception and satisfaction level of the employees working from home since the starting of COVID-19 towards the relationships between working from home and employee’s productivity for that sample 350 employees were collected. Moreover, we have employed ‘Pearson correlation coefficient’ to examine the relationship between employee’s productivity and working from home. There is a very weak but positive correlation between working from home and employee productivity, according to estimates. On the basis of study results, suggestions are made to policymakers, industry experts, academics, and stakeholders in order to increase the productivity of people working from home.
