Abstract

In the present study, an extensive integration of technology into the system and an effective application of Artificial Intelligence into various sections of the libraries is being examined. The researchers have emphasized several branches of AI including robotics, natural language processing, pattern recognition, expert systems, and their uses in libraries and related services. The prerequisites for applying AI to libraries, the potential applications of AI in libraries have also been discussed. The authors also discuss the concept of AI literacy as well as the hardships & limitations while implementing AI into the library system. The objective of this article is to bring awareness towards an effective integration of AI applications into the library system among the young researchers and budding professionals, which may become a boon for bringing the swift development in libraries throughout the developing world.
