Abstract This paper discusses the various trends in web resources and web-based library services usage in selected colleges of engineering and technology in Dharwad region, Karnataka state, India. The article explores the availability of web resources, importance and extent of web resources and their usage pattern. This survey reveals the growing interest of users in web resources. This study also reveals about the services and problems faced by the users in the usage of these web resources. Suggestions are provided at the end on how to make optimum use of web resources and services to extract speedy and necessary information.
