Abstract

The study aims to analyse the research performance from 2001 to 2015 among the oldest universities of India according to the year of establishment. The century old institutions have their fame in various activities including research. This paper analyses the research performance of these universities according to Scopus database. Required data are collected from Scopus database and different bibliometrics parameters are used to measure the output. The overall performance of 10 older Indian universities presents the indicative output, and the real assessment could be done on how deeply the faculty members are associated both in academic and research activities.
