Abstract Virtual mode of visualising data is trending nowadays; they are largely recognised and gained positive feedback for the benefits it can bring to related disciplines. With the availability of affordable computers with powerful graphics, a new research specialty emerged in the academic world: ‘information visualisation’. This paper provides information about various types of big data visualisation tools which facilitate to interpret the data and get a sensible conclusion. The visual analysis software generates data explicitly, interrelate with visual illustrations to transform the nature of the display, sort out irrelevant data, attempt to expose inner specifics, and point out subsections of data across multiple graphs instantly. Static graphs delivered on paper or electronically on a computer screen help to communicate information in a clear and enlightening way. This article contains a compilation of data visualisation tools that accelerate the process, enhances the quality of the information, and makes the data complete and easy to re-use. The link relationship within each tool is analysed using Social Network Visualiser (SocNetV), a network visualising tool. Top Keywords Big data, Visualisation, Tools, Link analysis, Software. Top |
