Online published on 30 April, 2015. Abstract Pre-eclampsia is considered as a risk factor in pregnancy and it causes insufficiency; thus it leads to maternal and foetal morbidity and mortality. The present study was done to compare the change in thickness of placenta in pre-eclamptic placenta with that of normal placenta. Placental examination in pregnancies with complication such as pre-eclampsia can provide insight into specific diagnosis, recurrence risk and abnormalities.
