Online published on 23 November, 2015. Abstract Neoplasms of accessory parotid gland are extremely uncommon. We report a case of a 45-year-old male who presented with a painless, slowly progressive swelling on the mid-cheek of the left side of face for the duration of four months. High resolution musculoskeletal ultrasonography of left cheek revealed a well-defined, lobulated hypoechoic solid nodule. Fine needle aspiration cytology was performed which was suggestive of benign lesion of salivary gland. The histopathological diagnosis was pleomorphic adenoma. Accessory gland tumours are rare and should be included in the differential diagnosis of neoplasm in the midcheek. Surgical resection is the treatment of choice for the accessory parotid gland tumour.
