Online published on 17 July, 2018. Abstract Objective The study was aimed to evaluate the hazards of improper biomedical waste management on weather climate of Meerut city. Methodology The survey on the management of Biomedical Waste was done with the help of 10 question questionnaire. Thirty soil samples of three different sites (playground of school, municipal waste collection area and biomedical waste collection area) were collected. The temperature, pH and presence of heavy metals of the soil sample were measured. The weather report was collected from Meteorological Department Meerut. All the results were tabulated and evaluated. Results The Survey Result showed that BMW management guideline was followed by only 66.7% and 45% hospitals were using Municipality Dustbins for Disposal. The soil profile result showed increase in temperature and decrease in pH and presence of heavy metals from the open dumping site near hospitals. Conclusion It was concluded that improper BMW disposal have serious impact on the soil profile, health of society. Hence, Municipality and government agency should pay attention to the importance of proper disposal of BMW safely and economically.
