It is one of the most prevalent type of odontogenic cyst associated with erupting or impacted teeth, particularly mandibular third molars; other teeth which are affected commonly are maxillary canines, maxillary third molars, and rarely incisors & supernumerary tooth. Dentigerous cysts account for more than 24% of jaw cysts & only 5% are associated with supernumerary teeth. Compound composite odontome has a prevalence of 67% in anterior maxilla but only 28% of odontomes are associated with dentigerous cyst. Here with we reported a 12 year old boy with an unusual case of Dentigerous cyst in anterior maxilla associated with inverted impacted mesiodens and an compound composite odontome.
