DNA evidences can be collected from blood, hair, skin, saliva, etc. The value of the Y chromosome in forensic DNA testing is that it is found only in males. In this study, foetus of unidentified was studied and DNA was extracted from the samples. Missing of Y alleles on Amelogenin male samples are misinterpreted as females. To solve this problem Y filer kit is used to detect the marker G DYS458. Most of the child or foetus are dumped and aborted because of the sex of the child or there was abnormality in foetus. Quantification was done and Gene mapper ID-X Software was used for STR analysis. Top Keywords Evidence, Amelogenin, Y Filer, Quantification, Genemapper ID-X Software. Top |
