Female's husband had said that she had become suddenly ill and her condition deteriorated. The female was declared brought dead at the casualty by the casualty doctor. Police officials were informed and inquest was done and body brought for autopsy. Autopsy of the female showed external and internal findings of three different asphyxial methods, i.e., ligature strangulation, manual strangulation and smothering. During investigation the investigating agency found that the three methods were carried out by deceased's husband and his three close relatives. The autopsy findings helped to bring in light the homicidal manner of the case and also helped in reconstructing the sequence of events in which the act was carried out.
