Abstract The study was conducted with an objective of analyzing residues of thiamethoxam, CGA322704 and chlorantraniliprole in paddy grain, straw and soil samples. Field trial of Virtako1.5% GR (thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole) on paddy was carried out following application 60 and 30 g a.i. ha−1(once and twice at an interval of 15 days). A simple QuEChERS (Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe) methodology was standardized for the simultaneous extraction of residues in paddy grain, soil and straw followed by estimation and confirmation on HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). The limit of quantification for the instrument was established as 0.01 mg kg−1 and detection limit was thus worked out as 0.003 mg kg−1. At harvest, residues observed in grain, soil and straw samples were below detection. Top Keywords Chlorantraniliprole, Grain, HPLC, Oryza sativa, Straw, Thiamethoxam. Top |
