Incidence of mange infestation in rabbits*

Abstract

The overall incidence of mange infestation in rabbits studied at Sheep Breeding Research Station, Sandynallah in the Nilgiris hills was 9.3%. Soviet Chinchilla rabbits were highly infested (32.6%) than the German Angora rabbits (17.6%). However, White Giant and New Zealand White rabbits were free from mange infestation. The clinical symptoms were recorded.
