Abstract This paper examines the research output of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health for the period 2012–2016. The data were downloaded from Web of science database. Total records in Environmental Science research (global level) were 3764 publications which were taken for the study. The growth of articles by year and volume; authorship pattern; author productivity; single and multi-authored papers; most prolific contributors; and degree of author collaboration were identified and presented.
