State central library being the apex public library of the state has the responsibilities to collect, organize and provide quality library services to people as per their needs. It acquires and preserves the knowledge of the society for the future. The study attempts to evaluate the quality library services of the West Bengal State Central Library (WBSCL) by applying Total Quality Management (TQM) tools and techniques to enable the library to provide better library services to its users.
