Abstract The present paper deals with the analysis of Relative Growth Rate and Doubling Time of productivity of research articles of CSIR-NEERI, India during 1989–2013. The data used for the study were retrieved from Web of Science database for the period of twenty fiveyears from 1989 to 2013. The results indicate that the growth of research has steadily increased from 9 articles in 1989 to 117 in 2011& 2012 and again decreased in the year 2013 (81 articles). The mean value of RGR of articles (0.104), pages (0.085) & Citations (0.066) and Dt of articles (4.277), pages (83.010) & citations (−12.150) respectively. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and Doubling Time (Dt) of CSIR-NEERI publications during the study period exhibits a fluctuating trend.
