Abstract The present study is an attempt to conduct a bibliometrics analysis based on the Web of Science Core Collection on food security research publications from 2000 to 2018 time period. The research focused on major source of articles, productive and prolific authors based on dominance factor, most relevant keywords and the countries with which India has collaborated. The data analysis has been done using R studio. The study concludes that there is quality research going on in the food security discipline and collaboration too at the global level to resolve the issues of food security.
