Abstract

Among six biocontrol agents tested Trichoderma viride exhibited maximum inhibition (71.85%) of P. aphanidermatum. Soil solarization for different duration on seed germination and growth parameters revealed that TPE 0.05 mm for 40 days recorded 96% (seed germination) and a vigour index of 2208.0. Among various treatment combinations, thiram recorded 12.6 and 8.0% followed by ST+SA (T. viride) which recorded 13.6 and 9.0 pre and post emergence damping-off, respectively.
