To test the effect of phytoextracts, bioagents and fungicides against aonla rust, a field experiment was conducted at main experimental area of Department of Horticulture CCS HAU, Regional Research Station, Bawal during 2020-21. In the present investigation three fungicides (mancozeb, copper oxychloride and wettable sulphur), three bioagents (Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma harzianum and Pseudomonas fluorescens), three organic pesticides (neem leaf extract, neem seed kernel extract (NSKe), neem oils) and water were used along with control treatment, for evaluation of their efficacy toward the control of aonla rust on cultivars NA-7 and Chakaiya. Among the seven treatments, the maximum reduction in disease intensity over control was observed in mancozeb (0.2%) with lowest PDI followed by copper oxychloride (0.3%), wettable sulphur (0.2%), Trichoderma harzianum (1%), Pseudomonas fluorescens (1%), Trichoderma viride (1%), neem oil (0.5%), neem seed kernel extract (NSKe) (5%) and neem leaf extract (5%) whereas, water treatment was found to be least effective over control. As far as yield is concerned the per tree yield was calculated for both the cultivars and the results showed that the trees treated with mancozeb (0.2%) produced maximum yield in both the cultivars (83.74 Kg/tree and 74.30 Kg/tree in cultivars NA-7 and Chakaiya, respectively) in comparison to the trees sprayed with copper oxychloride, wettable sulphur, three bioagents (Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma harzianum and Pseudomonas fluorescens), three phytoextracts (neem leaf extract, neem seed kernel extract (NSKe), neem oils) and water over control (54.2 Kg/tree and 48.8 Kg/tree in cultivars NA-7 and Chakaiya, respectively).
