Roem.) by seed multiplication using gibberellic acid. The study was conducted at the Fruit Nursery, College of Horticulture, Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal, (Uttarakhand) during November to April months. The experiment comprising ten treatments and having different concentrations of Gibberellic acid and soaking duration was laid out in Randomized block Design (Factorial) with three replications. The result obtained in the present investigation showed that the treatment combination S2G3 (seed soaked for 24 hours + GA3 @ 300 ppm) was found best for early germination (26.66 days), maximum germination percent (66.00 %), shoot length after 60, 120 and 180 days of seed sowing (45.06, 11.00 and 20.09 cm, respectively), shoot diameter (4.23 mm), number of leaves at 60, 120 and 180 days after sowing (11.86, 21.86 and 36.26, respectively), leaf area (2.12 cm2), number of branches (7.33), fresh and dry weight of shoot (3.07 and 1.02 g, respectively), root length (15.26 cm), fresh and dry weight of roots (1.37 and 0.41 g, respectively) and total biomass of seedling (4.44 g).
