Thus, this paper highlights the importance of it to users. This paper discusses about the elements of library portals, benefits of portals, important factors for library web portal, contents of web portal, web developmental model. Various ways to improve web portal are given, and this paper concludes with important and basic concept behind the portal technology to save the time of information seekers, while searching their required information, due to information explosion and data deluge in this digital era.
