Research Contributions of Prominent Organizations in India: A Study

Abstract

The recognition made by an organization at national and international level is based on the impact made in the Research and Development. The total number of publications contributed by the Indian authors in different field was 76, 779 during the study period 2006–2016. This study provides an overview of the research contribution made by the five prominent organizations in India during the last 11 years. The purpose of conducting the study is to analyze the contributions made by the five Indian organizations in the field of research. Scopus, a bibliographical database, is used to collect the data for the study. The findings of the study include, annually, there is a growth in the production of the researches by the selected five organizations. The five organizations are publishing on different subjects and more contribution is done in the form of research articles.
