Use of Electronic Information Systems by Undergraduate Students in the Loyola College of Arts and Science Mettala: A Study

Abstract

Today electronic resources are supporting higher education worldwide web electronic resources today became the strength of every academic activity of arts and science education. The electronic resources have provided countless opportunities for quicker accessing of information. This study aimed at finding the use of electronics resources by Loyola College of arts and science students. Majority of the respondents use electronics education purposes 0.8% of the students have computer knowledge among the surveyed students. All the students are aware about OPAC and e-mail Discussion, On-line databases the user satisfaction with e- resources was also studied. 56.7% of the students were satisfied with the available resources in the college.
