Abstract

The various ethical concerns to be faced by the library professionals are presented in this paper. The library and information science research programmes and their applications, as conducted by the academic departments of universities in India, are overviewed. Besides, the different aspects of digital and online publications are enumerated. The paper also discusses the effects of services towards the open access movement.
