Abstract Electronic Information Resources (e-resources) plays an important role in teaching and learning process at university level and provide superior assistance to its users. The main objective of this study was to identify the impact of usage of e-resources on academic performance of the university research scholars. The study was limited to Life Sciences and Physical Science School of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). The study has employed Chi-square and correlation test to find the association between the two schools, between the departments and between the genders. The study has found that majority of the scholars is aware of e-resources and they use the resources to the maximum for research and assignment purpose. This study would absolutely benefit the research scholars through exploring impact of usage of e-resources on academic performance.
