Incidence of snail, Achatina fulica (Bowdich) in betel vine and its management

Abstract

Among the various chemicals tested against the giant African snail, Achatina fuliea (Bowdich), Metaldehyde 2.5% was found to be the most effective and registered highest mortality after one day at both the localities tested (30.65 and 43.2) followed by Monocrotophos bait.
