Online Published on 14 December, 2023. Abstract The pyriproxyfen (@ 50 g ai ha-1) residues in chilli crop were estimated at different time intervals so that waiting period can be suggested. Pyriproxyfen residues in chilli dissipated faster and found to be below LOQ after 3 and 5 days at low and high doses, respectively. After 3 days, residues were below the MRL of 0.02 mg kg-1. Among various household processing methods, highest reduction was found with boiling and least with dipping in sodium bicarbonate solution.
