Furthermore, it discusses the European roots of the UCC concept and scrutinises the intricate web of constitutional provisions and conflicting ideologies. This paper critically assesses the historical context, examines state interventions in personal laws, the evolving stance of the Supreme Court, and the opinions of legal scholars.
