Online published on 3 February, 2020. Abstract The displacement of people refers to the forced movement of people from their locality or environment and occupational activities. This is caused by a number of factors such as an armed conflict, natural disasters, famine, development and economic changes can also be causes of displacement. In case of displacement of people for development, there are two types such as direct displacement, which leads to actual displacement of people from their locations and indirect displacement, which leads to a loss of livelihood. However, this paper has conceptualized the concepts of development and displacement, covered an evolution of the development concept, theories of development, forms of displacement, consequences of displacement of people for development and finally although, displacement of people for development in not encourageable and can be avoidable, but still this is inevitable because some displacements of people have happening in most of the states for their developmental purposes. So, this paper has investigated regarding what are the various propositions available for ahumanistic displacement of people for development of their respective states, which they can be utilize suitable suggestions for their requirements in the world.
