The main goals of restoring cardiac health is to increase physical and physiological activity after a cardiac arrest (disease) and to reduce the risk for recurrent cardiac arrest (disease) by improving the life style. Regular and routine exercise plays an important role in restoring and maintenance of cardiac health. The objective is to improve exercise doing capacity and in daily physical functioning in relation to individual physical activity limitations and participation restrictions. This makes the inactive patients to develop and maintain active lifestyle and consequently lowers the risk for cardiac diseases and improves the cardiac health.
