Abstract

Background

Lung cancer is the most common cancer in the world since 1988, both in terms of incidence and mortality among both men and women. Today it is the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women.of all lung cancer cases, more than 85% are caused by smoking.

Method

This descriptive study was conducted by interviewing 100 male participants. Interviewer administered questionnaires were used to collect opinions of participants regarding their knowledge on various causes, symptoms, treatments available for lung cancer.

Reason

It is important to create awareness among people about lung cancer since it is becoming a common disease in today's world.
