Online published on 24 August, 2018. Abstract The aim of present review article is to investigate the phytochemical constituents and biological activity of the Eucalyptus tereticornis. The essential oil obtained from E. tereticornis mainly contains triterpenoids, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, citronellal, citronellol, terpinolene and limonene etc. Apart from essential oil the plant is also reported to contain phytoconstituents likesteroid, lignins, fatty acids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and other phenolic compounds. The E. tereticornis showed various pharmacological activities such as Fungicidal, Antioxidant, Hepatoprotective, Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory, Immunomodulatory, Myorelaxant, Antihyperglycemic, Larvicidal and Antibacterial etc. This review article is focused to highlight the existing updated literature with respect to phytochemical constituents and various pharmacological actions.
