Abstract

Aim

The aim of the study is to investigate the various types of imaging techniques used in the dental implants.

Objective

The study concentrates on the analysis of various types of imagining techniques used in the dental implant cases.

Background

Dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into the jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be optional for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal diseases, an injury, or some other reasons. Implant imaging provides accurate and reliable diagnostic information about the patient's proposed implant site. It includes intra oral and extra oral radiographs.

Reason

To gain knowledge about the various imaging techniques used in the dental implant diagnosis and prognosis.
