Objective To survey about different methods, techniques and materials used for disinfecting or sterilising dental equipments and the materials sent by the clinician to dental technicians. Background Infection control is an essential part of dentistry. Potential for disease transmission in dental lab is well documented. This study comprises of analysing different methods of disinfecting dental materials by dental technicians. Reason Disinfection of dental materials should be undertaken to prevent transmission of infection. So it is important to know the different disinfecting methods. Top |
