Influence of Constant Stresses on Transverse Surface Waves Between Two Elastic Media Dr. Chandulal A.* Asst. Professor, Department of Mathematics, R. S. Vidyapeetha, Tirupati, A.P-517507, India *Corresponding Author E-mail: chandulal2009@gmail.com
Online published on 12 June, 2018. Abstract In this paper of constant stresses on transverse surface waves between two elastic media is considered. It is assumed that the constraints at the contact surface to be elastic, to represent different degrees of bonding between the interfaces. It is observed that the constant stresses restrict the nature of phase velocity as well as the ranges of elastic constant of constraint.
