Student, Hindu College of Education, Sonipat, Haryana Online published on 24 August, 2018. Abstract Job satisfaction is when, someone satisfied with his job. Job satisfaction is one of the most important workplace attitudes of employees and organization. Job satisfaction has two factors intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Extrinsic factors are determined by conditions that are beyond the employee. Intrinsic factors are related to psychological reward such as opportunity to use one's ability, a sense of challenge and achievement, receiving appreciation, positive recognition etc. Intrinsic factors include personality, education intelligence, and abilities, age and marital status. The present study was undertaken to examine the 30 Government and 20 private primary school teachers in relation to job satisfaction and experience. Descriptive survey method was employed for the present study. A sample of 50 teachers was taken. Job satisfaction scale by Dr. Amar Singh and Dr T.R. Sharma Scale was used to collect the data. Mean, SD, t-Test was also applied to analyze the data. There was found that teachers of govt. school were more satisfied as compare to private school teachers of primary schools.
