The study primarily investigates how socio-economic and demographic factors, including age, gender, income, education, occupation, and marital status, impact the financial literacy levels of individuals. This research adopts an empirical approach, utilising both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data collection involves the distribution of questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data is sourced from Census Reports, Research Articles, Journals, Published Books, Theses, various websites, and documents. A total of 160 individuals received the questionnaire through a hybrid approach, combining online and offline methods. Of these, three questionnaires were incomplete, leaving 157 responses for analysis. Data was subjected to an Independent Sample T-test and One-way ANOVA for hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that age and gender significantly influence individuals’ financial literacy levels, while factors such as income, education, occupation, and marital status were found to be inconsequential.
