Online Published on 27 February, 2024. Abstract Job satisfaction, stress and burnout are some of the crucial variables which can have an impact on attrition rates in the insurance industry. Happy employees are more inclined to stay with their current employer; thus high job satisfaction is frequently associated with reduced attrition rates. Employees in the insurance industry could feel stressed due to higher sales goals, dealing with complicated claims, or irate customers which may further lead to attrition. This study is intended towards exploring the impact of job satisfaction, stress and burnout on the level of attrition in the insurance sector. A survey of insurance sector employees was conducted and their responses were analysed using statistical tools. Test results reveals that there is strong linkage between job satisfaction of employees and attrition in insurance sector, higher level of satisfaction resulting from the job activities leads to minimising the level of attrition.
