Online published on 2 April, 2024. Abstract The present study was conducted in Rudrapur and Sitarganj block of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. Total 100 respondents from four villages viz; Bara, Khamaria, Siseya, Halduwa were selected. The findings of the study reported that majority of the respondents were middle aged, educated up to high school level. Majority of the respondents had medium herd size had dairy farming as primary occupation. Majority of the respondents had medium annual income having medium milk production, had medium dairy farming experience, had medium social participation, medium source of information and showed medium economic motivation, have medium risk preference. Majority of the respondents (71%) had overall partially extent of adoption of improved dairy farming practices (29-34). Top Keywords Adoption, Constraints, Dairy farmers. Top |
