Abstract

This paper aims to provide the latest developments and improvements implemented in GCD testing method-for more accurate and precise measurement of the ground’s hydraulic conductivity and solidification quality after its first developed in 2013, further examination in 2015, and first citation in tunnelling researches in 2017 and 2019 (Bineshian 2017, 2019, Bineshian et al 2019, Choudhary et al 2019), and finally its publication as an individual testing manual in 2020 (Bineshian, 2020a). Since then, it is successfully used in practice and design and verified till now in several projects with improvements and further developments in classification and its ranges and conduction procedure. The improvements included in this edition contains a modified classification in GCD-Class and their technical description, a further simplified application procedure, and overall improvement and ease in use of GCD testing method in practice to yield better accuracy in outcome and higher precision-in repetition.
