Abstract

In this article, firstly, an effort has been made to introduce the topic. An exclusive literature review has yielded the need for readiness for change. The initiatives taken by the organizations towards organizational change have also been discussed briefly which has helped us to understand various types of changes that organizations have introduced in recent times to thrive and survive in the competitive environment. Few models of change management which give insightful orientation to our understanding of successful implementation of change have been briefly discussed. Based on the in-depth study, an attempt has been made to propose a new conceptual model for successful change. The outcome of various kinds of change interventions are also discussed subsequently. Finally, in this article the conclusion is being drawn to increase the probability of success of change.
