Impact on Human Resources through Amalgamation in X-Changing Company, Shivamogga

Abstract

Nowadays amalgamation plays a vital role in corporate sector. Most of the companies are merging with the other companies in order to reduce the loss of the company and also increase the growth of the company. However, amalgamation is also happening in banking sector also. In this paper, an attempt is made to study the employees’ opinion on amalgamation. Accordingly, 100 employees from the X-changing and Cambridge companies were randomly selected to constitute the sample of the study. This paper gives a brief account of impact on human resources through amalgamation and the employee willingness to accept amalgamation and the socio-economic factors influencing the employees’ familiarity with amalgamation and willingness to accept amalgamation. This paper also provides to understand the barriers due to unskilled employees so for that only 50 employees have taken as random sampling survey
