Training Evaluation from Trainee Responses Islam Amirul1,* 1Professor, Department of Economics, University of Chittagong, Chittagong-4331, Bangladesh *Email id: amiruli@yahoo.com
Abstract The study uses data from the responses of a group of young university professionals to examine the evaluation of a research training programme from the trainee perspectives. The analysis shows that 13 items that were used to evaluate the programme can be represented by only two factors, one of which is related to the content of the programme and the other with the methods of the programme. A hierarchical cluster analysis of the data divides the subject space into two categories, one technically sound and the other not quite so, suggesting the importance of designing a training programme based on the backgrounds of the participants. Top Keywords Training program, Training evaluation, Dimension reduction, Factor analysis, Hierarchical cluster, Cluster analysis, Trainee perspectives. Top |
