Knowledge Regarding Health Consequences of Early and Late Marriage among Adolescent Girls Tamilarasi G. Staff Nurse, Government Medical College and Hospital, Krishnagiri. Online Published on 25 October, 2023. Abstract A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding health consequences of early and late marriage among adolescent girls at selected Government Schools, Chennai. The quantitative approach method was used and 60 adolescent girls were selected from Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School, Choolai, Chennai by purposive sampling technique. The average knowledge score in pre-test was 8.18 and in post- test, it was 15.17, and the difference in the score was 6.99 which was statistically significant. Hence the study concluded that the structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding health consequences of early and late marriage was effective in improving the knowledge of the adolescent girls.
