Abstract The status of females in India aptly symbolizes India's status of being a developing nation-miles away from becoming a developmental state. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the planned teaching program on the knowledge and attitude of college students regarding the female feticide. Probability simple random sampling technique was used to select 60 samples, knowledge and attitude was assessed using structured questionnaire. It was observed that the planned teaching program plays a vital role in improving the knowledge and attitude of college students regarding female feticide.
