Online Published on 26 October, 2023. Abstract The ergonomics on the environment helps to improve an environmental condition thereby it makes students to concentrate on education. The objective of the study was to assess the effect of ergonomics on concentration and musculoskeletal discomfort among the College students.A quasi experimental design was adopted for the study. The sample size was 40 selected through convenient sampling. The analysis revealed, that the overall mean difference between pretest and posttest of concentration was 7.78 and 11.08 and the 't' value was 5.9968 that was highly significant at P<0.0001. Regarding, musculoskeletal discomfort it was 10.03 and 4.65 and the 't' value was 8.7896 that was highly significant at P<0.0001. The study concluded that the application of ergonomics in the class room was effective in reducing musculoskeletal discomfort and improves concentration level.
