Sc(N)., PhD, Principal, Meenakshi College of Nursing, Mangadu, Chennai-69 Online published on 6 December, 2016. Abstract A descriptive study to assess the time and motion of II Year B. Sc(N) Students SRM College of Nursing who are posted in ICF Hospital at Chennai. Objectives were to assess and compare the time spent for nursing activities & non nursing activities of II year B. Sc. (N) students. Observational check list was used to collect the data from 25 B. Sc(N) II year students. The collected data were grouped and analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that most of the students are spending time for collecting history of the patients and non nursing activity than patient care. There was no statistically significant associationfound between the selected demographic variables and nursing activity except religion (chi square X* 7.81, p<0.05). Top | |
