Abstract An experiment comprising of 31 genotypes was conducted at Research Farm of the Department of Vegetable Science, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar during springsummer season of 2015. The genotypes were planted in randomized block design with three replications. Considerable amount of variability was noticed for the 10 morphological traits of leaf and fruit viz., leaf shape, leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), leaf pubescence, leaf blade, fruit shape in longitudinal section, fruit neck, fruit skin color, shape of fruit at blossom end, shape of fruit at peduncle end.
